Itinerary
Day 01: City Tour Cusco
Reception and Transfer in Cusco to your hotel. Morning free to relax and acclimatize. After lunch in a restaurant of your choice we will meet with your guide and assistance for a city tour. This tour includes a visit to the Cathedral which is over 450 years old and the magnificent ruins of Saqsaywaman, and Tambomachay. At night we will have the opportunity to dinner together in one of Cusco’s finest restaurants. (Dinner). Overnight in Cusco
Day 02: Sacred Valley
Following a delicious breakfast buffet at your hotel you will be met by your guide and the assistance who will take you on a tour of The Sacred Valley of the Incas. This tour includes the fantastic Inca complex of Pisac a look round the local market, a buffet lunch and tour of the village and fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight in Sacred Valley. (Breakfast, Lunch).
Day 03: Machu Picchu.
Today, We will take the Vistadomme class train which allows spectacular views on the road to Machu Picchu. One of the greatest archaeological wonders on the planet. A supported tour by trained assistance in Machu Picchu by special design circuit where we will receive explanations on the history of Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes. (Breakfast, Lunch).
Day 04: Machupicchu – Cusco.
This day, we will relax in the hotel. In the afternoon we will return to the Sacred Valley. (Breakfast, Lunch). Overnight in Sacred Valley.
Day 05: Sacred Valley - Maras – Moray.
Breakfast and we’ll depart to Maras village and the experimental terraces of Moray. It is believed this fascinating area is where the Incas created their own micro climate to adapt plants to the altitude. In the afternoon we will visit the salt mines that are just below Maras.These mines are still fully operational and you can see the campesinos at work on them. Return to Cusco in the evening. (Breakfast, Lunch).
Day 06: Free Day Cusco.
Free Day to allow you to do some shopping and explore some of the other places of interest in Cusco. At night we will have a farewell dinner with a typical dancing show. (Breakfast, Dinner).
Day 07: Tipon and Pikillaqta.
Today we will visit the ruins of Tipon and also the Pre Inca Wari ruins of Pikillacta . On the way we will have a picnic lunch and end the day with a visit to the chapel of Andahuaylillas with its famous paintings. At night we will have farewell dinner with a live local dance show in Cusco. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
Day 08: Transfer out - Cusco
Breakfast and transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima. End of our services. (Breakfast).
