DAY 01: CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY VIA FERRATA AND ZIP LINE ADVENTURE
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and drive you up to Pachar (9,512 ft) near of Ollantaytambo, where we will meet our guides who will explain us the technical and give us the harnesses. We will start to climb and follow the iron circuit until we reach the zip line which will transport us along the mountain with a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley, mountains, agriculture terraces and Inca sites. Boxed lunch.

DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY - URUBAMBA RIVER RAFTING
Pick up from your hotel and drive to reach our private river put-in located in Pachar. Here you will receive your rafting equipment and a safety briefing. (Toilet facilities are available).
After a brief period practicing on the flat parts of the river. We will start our journey on easy waters while we admire the spectacular views of the mountains and archaeological remains. Continue towards Ollantaytambo and its amazing Inca terraces, at the time we experience class II and III rapids, to finish with “El Resbaladero” (The Slide), a strong class III rapid which includes waves and small whirlpools. After lunch we will have time to explore the area, do some hike to see how the local villagers harvest and do some agriculture work.

DAY 03: CACHICCATA - HIKING OR HORSE BACK RIDING TO THE INCA QUARRY
In the morning, we will start the trip from our campground and head up hill to the amazing Inca quarry where we may visit Inca terraces and tombs, until we reach the base of one of the most important mountains of the area, the Apu Buena Negra, a granite geological formation. Here the guide will explain you about the ancient technique used by people to carve the stones and how they transported these stones to Ollantaytambo complex where they finished the work. In fact, on our way up, we will follow the same path used to move massive rocks of several tons down to the fortress of Ollantaytambo. From the quarry of Cachiccata we will have an impressive view of the Veronica Mountain which is one of the most important Mountains in the Urubamba range, as well as a great view of the Pakaritampu pyramid, based on the agricultural terraces, and the town of Ollantaytambo and its fortress. After lunch, we will descent while we will have the chance to admire breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and its beautiful typical little houses, and its green corn fields, crossed and irrigated by the sacred river of the Incas. The hike ends at Ollantaytambo fortress. Cachiccata community main source of income is agriculture, specifically corn. The houses of this community where built on stone foundations, using adobes (mud bricks) to build houses of only one or two floors, all with roofs made of straw.

DAY 04: CACHICCATA - INKA TRAIL EXPRESS - KM 104: (ALTERNATIVE TREK IN CASE INCA TRAIL PERMITS ARE NOT AVAILABLE)

You will board the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu, you will leave all your personal belongs at your hotel and then you will go up to Machupicchu where you will have your first tour at this marvelous citadel, your guide will give you valuable information of Machupicchu. Lunch will be at Aguas Calientes town and then you will go to your hotel to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

DAY 05: FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU - BACK TO CUSCO:
We visit the Sanctuary early in the morning for a full day of exploring. Guiding tour.
In the afternoon, the train goes back to Cusco from the Aguas Calientes station. Arriving and transfer to the hotel.
