This Multi Sport Adventure will take you through Off the Beaten Track dirt roads trails to Machu Picchu through its back road. Breath taking views, professional field staff and top of the line equipment will make this adventure a lifetime experience. Enjoy trekking along the east side of the Andes, entering into the Amazon rain forest, Bike among breath taking views of snowy peaks that crown the fantastic Andean landscape and camp under the Andean sky scattered by restless stars.

Itinerary Description

DAY 1

DRIVE INTO THE AMAZON CLOUD FOREST AND RAFTING LOWER URUBAMBA RIVER

We start or trans-Andean journey towards Machu Picchu driving up to the mountain pass of Malaga (4,200 mts-13,860 mts). From where We will drop 2,400 mts-7500 fts until Santa Maria Village at the Amazon cloud forest and located in the back side of Machu Picchu area (3 hours driving by an amazing Puna and cloud forest landscape). In the way we stop at Salaspunku Inca site. We will continue our trip during 20 minutes and arrive to Mangal Lodge that is located in Maranura. Arriving we will take our lunch and transfer to start the river rafting experience. We will received our instructions to start 2 hours rafting trip by a tropical river with class 3 rapids. In the take out we change clothes and board our car to return our Lodge, Arriving a taking some time to rest we will have our Cacao tour where you will see and taste the different varieties of this plant. We will spend the night in Mangal lodge.
