Itinerary description:

After picking passengers from their hotel, we will drive north of Cusco along a paved road for about 40 minutes to get to the town of Chinchero. Located 28km away from Cusco, this place is known for its textile work and communal organization. Here we will meet the women responsible for the textile activities, those dedicated to preserve and use ancient Inca´s weaving and knitting techniques of old pre-Columbian styles and learn more about weaving techniques as well as the procedure to obtain natural colours. At the end of the visit we will have time to do some shopping and Visit the Chinchero archaeological site.

After this, we will drive 40 minutes towards the center of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the town of Urubamba, where we will have a delicious Lunch in a restaurant.

After lunch we will have the chance to meet a ceramist family, where we will have the opportunity to experiment with ceramics, following their teachings and ancient Inca’s techniques. An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then we will return back to our hotel in Sacred Valley or Cusco.
