Cusco

The Archeological and historical capital of the Americas, Cusco is located in a fertile valley fed by several rivers in the heart of Peruvian Andes. City of Cusco

Situated in the Peruvian Andes Cusco is a beautiful city with contrasts between indigenous styles and modern western architecture. Its an example of confluence of two cultures, Inca and Hispanic, which through the centuries merge and configured a unique urban, artistic and architectural form.

Sacred Valley, Pisac, and Ollantaytambo

The Sacred Valley was the spiritual home of the mighty Inca Empire. The valley near the city of Cusco is full of spectacular vistas of mountains, Inca ruins, beautiful villages and knowledge of the rich Andean culture.
Pisac At the top of the mountains, Pisac is an Inca complex of farming terrace, ritual baths fed by aqueducts and the largest known Inca cemetery. Visit the regional market where you can meet the locals, buy local fruit, vegetables, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
Ollantaytambo Probably the best preserved of the Inca settlements, its well maintain architecture provides a natural connection with the days of the Incas. This old Inca town contains urban, religious, astronomical and administrative complexes. Water still runs through original channels around narrow streets build in the 15th century.

Chinchero

The locals called it the birthplace of the rainbow. Vestiges around Chincheros today the importance of this Inca town. Visit the colonial church built on 1607 over Inca foundations by the Spanish. Get to know the artisans at the local market and buy unique traditional textiles.

Maras Moray

The Inca Agriculture Lab. The Inca used circular depressions to experiment crops in different temperatures and altitudes. Visit the salt ponds of Maras. This natural salt deposits emerge from thermal springs that have been harvest for centuries until today.

The Andean Baroque Route & South of the Valley

The Andean Baroque Route is a group of 4 churches located south of Cusco that belongs to the Andean Baroque artistic movement.  
Close by the Tipon citadel is an Inca terracing, surrounded by fountains and finely designed water channels constructed for agriculture purposes above the valley.
Around the south Cusco Valley is Pikillacta a sign of great civilization, known for the extraordinary planning capability of its cities. This archeological place was built by a pre - Inca culture named the Wari.

Machu Picchu

The lost city of the Incas located in the midst of a tropical mountain forest is magnificent. 150 buildings, stone walls, stairways, ramps, and terraces blend in a beautiful natural setting. The site finely crafted stonework and a sophisticated irrigation system let us witness Inca architectural, agricultural and engineering prowess.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983 and designated one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, Machu Picchu is Peru’s most visited attraction and South America.
